Theano

Inspired by Art Deco and the minimalism of the Bauhaus style, the Theano bathtub from Villeroy & Boch was developed by designer Christian Haas, creator of tableware, glassware, lighting and furniture. The free-standing Quaryl bathtub features balanced proportions and geometric contours, resembling impressive monoliths and combining a filigree design with great strength, the company notes. Quaryl, a proprietary innovation from Villeroy & Boch, is made by blending sanitary acrylic with natural, hard mineral quartz and allows for precisely shaped bath designs with thin walls and an enduring glossy sheen, the company explains. The smooth, nonporous, and heat-retaining surface is sturdy, non-slip and very easy to clean, it notes.

Finion

The free-standing Quaryl bath, which boasts a delicate design with precise, extremely thin 1⁄2” edges, is a highlight of the Finion collection, the company says. The monolith is made from Quaryl and incorporates an impressive design and hi-quality material, it notes. Despite compact outer dimensions of 67” x 28”, it still has a generous internal area, comparable to a traditional 171” x 32” bathtub, and ensures the best bathing experience, the company adds. This feature also makes it ideal for smaller bathrooms. The Finion bathtub is available with three metal finish options for the overflow and drain hardware, including Chrome, Champagne, and Gold.
