• New Jersey full-service firm McLaren Engineering Group announced founder and CEO Malcolm McLaren is a finalist for EY’s 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year NJ Award. The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who excel in areas such as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities, while also transforming the world.

  • The LiRo Group, a national mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering, project and construction management, architecture, and technology firm, promoted Nancy Malicki to vice president in charge of LiRo’s marketing department. 

  • Matco-Norca promoted Phillip Lewis to vice president of commercial sales. He previously was southern regional sales manager. Brian Jennings was promoted to vice president of industrial sales after previously serving as assistant vice president of sales.

  • Taco Comfort Solutions welcomed Jason O’Neill as the company’s new regional manager for wholesale products in the western United States. O’Neill has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of sales management positions with industry companies such as Uponor and Bosch.

  • MIFAB promoted Jason Gremchuk from engineering manager to vice president — operations. Gremchuk has been with the company for more than 10 years. MIFAB also promoted Biswarup Bhattacharjee from director of purchasing to its executive management team as vice president – supply chain.

  • Plumbing Manufacturers International named Viega’s Martin Knieps and Delta Faucet’s Michael Martinez to its board of directors. Both individuals will serve terms through 2020. Knieps is Viega’s director of technical marketing, while Martinez is the product compliance manager at Delta.

  • Rheem Director of Digital Marketing Brian White has been appointed to the Continental Automated Buildings Association Board of Directors. CABA is a nonprofit industry association that provides information, education and networking to help promote advanced technologies for the automation of homes and buildings.

  • Northway Marketers promoted Jim Cherubini to regional vice president for the Northeast. Cherubini has been with Northway since 2011 as a territory manager, representing multiple manufacturers’ products and providing support to all the distributors and contractors in his area, the firm noted.

  • Danfoss appointed John Sheff as its new director of public and industry affairs for North America. Sheff succeeds Mark Menzer, who is preparing to retire after five years at Danfoss and 35 years in the industry.

  • Armstrong Fluid Technology announced a major expansion with the establishment of a European sales office in Mannheim, Germany. This legal entity, Armstrong Fluid Technology GmbH, will supply the rebranded range of high-efficiency, electronically controlled pumps for heating and drinking water systems.

  • MIFAB announced Texas-based Pepco Sales and Marketing has joined the MIFAB family as a manufacturers representative. Established in 1965, Pepco will stock MIFAB products in its Dallas warehouse covering North Texas and Oklahoma.
